Bridge crane is constructed by relying on a beam (rail) that is permanently attached to a support structure.Via a cable or wire rope that is fed through the trolley-mounted mechanism,heavy objects can be moved vertically (raised or lowered),while at the same time moved horizontally along the rail,thereby moving the object for new placement.Smaller overhead bridge cranes might be used to move heavy tools, products,or equipment back and forth between workshops or from a workshop to a
loading dock.

The double girder bridge cranes consist of two end trucks,two bridge girders and the trolley hoist unit. The hoist is placed between the two girders rather than below; this adds up to 3 feet more that items can be lifted off the floor.

Double girder bridge cranes find application when greater capacities are requested and with high operation requirements. In
equal conditions double girder bridge cranes offer higher lifting heights.

beam, which is frequently supported by the roof structure.Because there is no need for support columns, it uses least floor
space of other overhead bridge cranes.The under hung bridge crane is usually restricted to moving lighter capacities
